Hey Everyone! My name is Niamh pronounced Neve :)) I am a Vet Nurse at Family Vets and am currently undertaking my Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing. I joined the team last July originally as Work Placement student before getting offered an employee position in October last year.

I absolutely love animals with my whole heart and have 2 fur babies of my own Maggie and Mabel. Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved being within the company of animals especially dogs who have always had an extremely special place in my heart. Although any cute face that comes into the clinic I immediately fall in love with no matter the species :)

My favourite part of nursing is forming a connection with every patient that comes into the clinic, weather they are just in for a quick visit or are a hospital patient. It’s my goal to make every animal feel as comfortable as possible throughout their time at Family Vets :)

Outside of nursing I absolutely love spending time with my friends and family and my doggies of course! I enjoy travelling and it is a major goal of mine to work all around the world as a veterinary nurse in the future!
